Josh, Kirby and Dan,
Technical difficulties aside, it was a great episode this week.  I really enjoyed the tutorial on judging and hope to see more in the future.  Similar to the behind the scenes tutorial with Dan, it is great to get to learn more about the process of the show and sport itself in these tutorials.

Saturday classes have been forcing me to watch the podcast (amazing quality) or the UStream recording.  I just wanted to pass along that after a 6 hour class, SBL makes the day better.  I am a bit biased because I can’t catch the live feed currently, but I liked having the chance to send in an answer for the give away over the week (circa beysick 2 weeks ago).  I imagine this is has more flaws than the give away during the show, but the occasional opportunity to enter the give away is fun.

Thanks for all that you guys are doing for the sport, and to the rest of the crew putting on the show.

Where we posting tricks tutorials on Russian with comments. Of cause you can learn it even if you dont know russian but it will be a bit harder.  We have a huge plans to do, not only trick tutorials, but also some videos and other activity… who knows, what else we can do?

·         Also from the yoyofactory blog – Hyper Yo-Yo Scanner! – These scanners are going to be at Hyper Yo-Yo events throughout Japan.  The scanners detect the RPM of a spinning yo-yo, and I guess it’s like an arcade game.  I don’t know if they cost money, but I think they track the speed and who gets the fastest and stuff.  It’s mega rad.  I wish I knew more about it, but I don’t speak this moon language.

·         In Memoriam – Michael “YoMike” Attanasio  – 1956 – 2010 – Not to end news on a sad note, but the yo-yo community lost a great person this week.  Founder of TheYo Store and TheYo Forum passed away.  I’ll just say that the community will miss him.
