String Burn LIVE! - EP 035 - Planet 9

· Mike Montgomery's “Learn to Throw” book – Mike Mongomery, the entreprenureual yo-yoing force from Idaho has just published a “How-To” book on yo-yoing through the publish on demand site Lulu.com. I (josh) read an early copy of this book and it's pretty darn good.
· To keep riding the Mike Montomery bandwagon, he has released the first in a series of tutorials to help promote his book. Here is a clip from his first video from the Learn to Throw Show.
· B!ST: Ice Ice Baby – This yo-yo is particularly hilarious to me, because I had an argument several years ago with my buddy Josh Jessen about an ice yo-yo. So this just completely blows everything away forever. The St. Paul winter carnival may be over, but here in Minnesota, we've still got at least 4 feet of snow on the ground. Bring on the BIST Ice Ice Baby! (queue Kirby singing Ice Ice Baby)
· Ickyo Agape gets closer to prime time –There is a great thread on ExtremeSpin with some great pictures and a couple of great reviews. Of course you could check out String Burn LIVE! episode for our review of the Agape.
· Timeless – Mars - $15?!?! WHAT!? – this is from yoyoskills.com - Looks like Timeless is ready to push these to market at a LOW low price of $15! Looks like it will come in Red, Green, and Clear.
· Exclusive news from Caribou Lodge – This is direct from Chris Mikulin himself “Caribou Lodge is going to make 150 prints. 1st 75 gnarwhals gets one and 1st 75 sasquatches get one. Gnarwhals will be released first followed by sasquatches at a later date (roughly 1.5 months). Or sooner. And the other pictures seem to be concept/package art for the Chief.”
· A little bit more exclusive Caribou Lodge news – New Large Bearing Bassalopes are coming your way with some exciting new colorways! – This is as written by Chris Mikulin again… “Winter/Spring colours: Blue, Green and Salmon.
